How Geoff McFetridge Assembles A Show

Two days ago, we got a surprise e-mail from the one and only Geoff McFetridge simply with a link and the short sentence “Neat!” We could tell from the address that it was a video–but we had no idea what it was. Of course, it was a pleasant surprise: a time lapse video of him preparing for his recently opened Cal Poly show.

The video is a quick two minutes long, spanning the length of a few days. You get to see the various spots that were actually painted in house (as they were on the wall). If you look carefully, Geoff is the one in the khaki pants and white shirt (he’s more visible in the look at the other side of the gallery–the easiest way to find him is he is the guy who sits in the rolling chair at one point). You also get to see exactly how the space at Cal Poly is for the show, which looks a lot bigger than we thought previously. Definitely looks like it’d be something very great to see in person but, alas, it’s a little far away.
