In honor and conjunction with CicLAvia, Poketo has created a few products specifically for the car-less event. The local lifestyle brand has created two limited edition t-shirts and a wallet that will benefit keeping CicLAvia alive.
The wallet was designed with Colleen Corcoran, who is the designer for CicLAvia (more of it can be seen here). The two shirts were designed by Poketo artists Nathalie Roland and Joe To. You may be hoping to hop online to grab these products but, unfortunately, you will not be able to: they will be on sale at all CicLAvia rest stops during the event on October 9.
“CicLAvia is such an asset to the city and, when it comes down to it, a great event that reminds people to enjoy every bit of the city they live in. We’re proud to help keep it going,” Ted Vadakan–one of Poketo’s co-founders–said of the project. We’re so excited to see local businesses getting involved with super great causes and, who knows, perhaps CicLAvia will become a monthly fixture. Be sure to get your wheels downtown for CicLAvia on the 9th and, for more coverage, Poketo has been posting things on their blog.
