There’s a new venue in town, and it goes by the name Art House Live. Los Angeles has a long lasting and ever changing musical climate. The scenes come and go, shift and evolve. One such change that has taken place over the last several years, is a severe lack of a west-side scene to call your own.
You might have known Father John Misty before Father John Misty was around. His former incarnations included J. Tillman, the drummer for Fleet Foxes, and a long-time Los Angeles resident. However, since the emergence of Father John Misty, it seems that things are really heating up. His debut album, Fear Fun, under the new moniker just released on Sub Pop a little over a week ago, on May 1st.
