A week ago from today was our February installment of L.A.S., our LA based storytelling series. Because that month is always connoted by love, we thought that we’d have people share LA love stories. Those range from stories of loving the city to falling in (and out of) love in the city—and it was quite a great time. In case you missed the event or simply are curious, we have the podcast for you: check it out!
It’s finally here: tonight is our lovey L.A.S.! Because we always are sure to thoroughly give a heads up on how it works, please check out information on this evening’s show so you know how to get there and when to get there. We can’t wait! See you tonight!
At nearly the halfway point of February, it’s time that we share a little information regarding who will be speaking at the next L.A.S. at Bar Covell’s Sidebar. Last month was probably our most solid event so, to keep the good times going, the next one is happening February 27: consider it a very late Valentine’s Day gift.
We avoided it long enough: it is actually Winter in Los Angeles. While that does not mean being walloped with snow or being lower than the fifties, the city does become a certain type of crisp and therefore quite chilly. It can get cold! That wasn’t the case for most of January and for the Angeleno experience in general. In fact, we had a very tough time figuring out stories for last month’s L.A.S. But! We made it work.
While it is by no means freezing, we’d say that Los Angeles rose to the occasion for tonight’s L.A.S. by being a bit gloomy and brisk. About time! Anyway, for those coming or who can’t come or who might come, a few things you should know.
