Last Thursday was our second L.A.S., our ~*~sCaRy~*~ LA storytelling night, and it went super well. There was a much bigger turn out and lots of people and drank and had a great time: it was super fun! The stories told were terrific and, if you missed out, you really missed out…but we have you covered! The podcast for this month’s show is now online where it will live and continue to spook people on into the future.
Tonight is the night: you’re going to get the poo scared out of you courtesy of the latest L.A.S., LAIY’s storytelling series. As per usual, we’re very happy to present another month of locals telling tales and thusly there is some information to relay for all interested in attending. Check this out, if you are free tonight! If not, you can get a peek at what November’s L.A.S. is going to be.
We’re nearing mid-October and we’ve had a rainy day and it is kind of colder and the Santa Anas keep popping in and out: it is officially Autumn. While Spirit Stores are popping up and warnings of Knott’s Scary Farm and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal have been released, the thrills and scares of Halloween month have yet to reveal themselves. One thing to help you kick off the week leading into the ~*~sCaRiEsT~*~ week of the year is the next L.A.S., whose theme is all about ~*~sCaRy~*~ Los Angeles experiences. These aren’t horror stories meant to make you shit your pants you are so nervous but semi-relatable frights that have happened locally. To ramp up the thrills, we wanted to share with you our storytellers to get you jazzed for the October 24 event.
We can’t believe it but last week was the first Los Angeles Stories and it came and it went and it was fabulous. We knew many of you wanted to make it but couldn’t and that many were simply curious about what exactly the event would be. To give you all an idea of how it went and even a way to relive it, we have turned the event into a podcast. If you wanted some mid-afternoon LA centric Moth-like story time, this is for you.
It’s finally here: it’s the day of the first L.A.S., LAIY’s new storytelling series. We’re very excited about it and we wanted to relay some information for those who have a ticket, those who don’t have a ticket, and anyone else curious to know more (like how to speak next month…). Thus, check out some information after the jump and see you guys tonight!
