It’s that time of the month: time for a new L.A.S.! For April, we’re teaming up with the American Society Of Medica Photographers and Month Of Photography Los Angeles to share a stories about Los Angeles and photos. Our lineup includes only photographers, most of which you are probably familiar with. Find out who is participating after the jump!
We’re a bit behind on this, we’re aware, but we wanted to share the podcast from the previous L.A.S.. It was a great showing as always and shows that there are so many different ways to experience Los Angeles, most of which we’ve yet to encounter. This listen is also quite quick with four stories: turn it on this afternoon and enjoy!
At nearly the halfway point of February, it’s time that we share a little information regarding who will be speaking at the next L.A.S. at Bar Covell’s Sidebar. Last month was probably our most solid event so, to keep the good times going, the next one is happening February 27: consider it a very late Valentine’s Day gift.
We avoided it long enough: it is actually Winter in Los Angeles. While that does not mean being walloped with snow or being lower than the fifties, the city does become a certain type of crisp and therefore quite chilly. It can get cold! That wasn’t the case for most of January and for the Angeleno experience in general. In fact, we had a very tough time figuring out stories for last month’s L.A.S. But! We made it work.
While it is by no means freezing, we’d say that Los Angeles rose to the occasion for tonight’s L.A.S. by being a bit gloomy and brisk. About time! Anyway, for those coming or who can’t come or who might come, a few things you should know.
